Conflict Resolution/De-Escalation Training with Lia Love

This workshop is designed to give practical information and hands-on training in Conflict Resolution/De-Escalation techniques. The information presented is a reflection of my 30 years studying, practicing, and teaching Conflict Resolution Strategies, Negotiation, and Self-Defense. Even though conflict situations are often unpredictable and fluid, the Responder’s approach must be unwavering. The goal of the Conflict Resolution/De-Escalation process always is to address conflictive situations calmly and carefully by providing compassionate, clear, and supportive guidance to all parties whenever possible. Working in small groups and pairs, the workshop provides a safe, supervised opportunity to develop and enhance Responders’ Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills.

Safe, Sane and Consensual: DM Training with Adeline Kindred and River Mei

Safe, Sane and Consensual: despite the wholehearted conviction to these words, things go wrong, people make poor choices, and predators exist. Learn some of the tools and develop the framework needed to help set boundaries, to assist in generating a safe and comfortable scene space, and to respond when things go awry. You will be guided through group exercises, self reflection, and role playing activities to help pack your toy bag with the tools to be a successful DM.
